Kodiakanal Lake Literature

Kodiakanal Lake, also known as Kodai Lake, is a man-made lake located in the Kodaikanal city in Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu, India.

Built in 1893 by Sir Vere Henry Levinge, a former District Collector of Madurai, the lake was created to provide drinking water and irrigation to the town. It is star-shaped and spread out over 60 acres, with a 5-kilometer paved road encircling it.
